First Film

I finally developed my first roll of 35mm film, yay! Here's a few of the photos from the selection. The final photo of Alex eating mango was taken by Ian who wasn't too sure what to do, it turned out perfect Ian, you genius! My thanks go to Merle (the girl with the lovely smile) who taught me how to use my camera properly.

Camera - Buttons, dials, and things that click!

Do you ever get those moments when you see something that you just need to capture? Those images of people and places that have a particular atmosphere or tell a story. I come across those from time to time but I've never had a way to capture them as beautifully as they appear at that moment. So, I bought a camera.
Now I know next to nothing about photography but I've decided, I will learn! This is my Olympus OM-2n that I bought from a kind gent at the market. It looks and feels great! Hopefully after a fair bit of learning, I'll be able to capture those inspiring moments that occur in everyday life.
