Mere Trinkets

I realized today just how unusual my desk is, it is occupied by items such as hairspray, a makeup brush, and these perfume bottles. The hairspray and makeup brush both have practical uses for when I'm finishing artwork but these bottles, well they're mere trinkets, I like how they look and they make good still life studies. I have had the blue bottles for some time now. I was shocked when I found out that my Mum was throwing out these tiny glass containers and claimed them for myself. I seem to hoard items that I think look good, basically anything that is shiny, colourful and attractive.
